Why "AI PM" beats "All-in-one workspace"
We pivoted our positioning from generic workspace to AI PM. Conversion went 2x. Here's the data and the reasoning.
For a year we sold "Qone is your team's workspace". Demos went well. Conversion was flat at 7%.
In March we changed the homepage and the cold-email script to lead with "AI Project Manager. Works while you sleep." Same product. Different framing.
Conversion since: 14%. Cold-email reply rate: 3.2% → 7.8%. Pipeline-to-close cycle: 21 days → 12 days.
Why: SME founders don't shop for workspaces. They shop for relief from being the PM. The product was always solving that — we just stopped hiding it.
