Collect visual feedback
3 min read
Turn "the button looks broken on this page" into a real, assigned task without the back-and-forth. The Visual Feedback widget lets anyone point at an element on your site and comment — Qone captures the context and files it for you.
1. Create a feedback project
- Open Settings → Visual Feedback → Add
- Give it an app name, list the allowed origins (the domains you'll embed on), and pick the target project where tasks should land
- Save — Qone generates a public ingest key and an embed snippet
2. Embed one line
Paste the snippet before your closing </body> tag:
<script src="https://app.qone.work/feedback.js" data-project="fp_your_key" async></script>
No build step, no package. A floating feedback button appears on your site.
3. Tune it (optional)
- Position the button in any screen corner, with a pixel offset to dodge existing widgets
- Show it to everyone or only your admins
- Enable/disable it remotely — a kill switch that never touches your code
What you get
Every submission becomes a task in your target project right away, then AI triages it (type, severity, a clear title) and auto-assigns an owner — with the reporter's original page context attached so the owner can reproduce it.
